Redeem Your Electioneering Promises, AVITES International Urges Ogun West Senator-Elect, Yayi

ABEOKUTA – Senator Olamilekan Adeola Yayi has been urged to keep faith with the electioneering promises.

This admonition was made by a Corporate player in the built industry, AVITES INTERNATIONAL Ltd, in a congratulatory letter addressed to the ranking Senator, through the Director-General of his campaign Organisation, Dr. Isiaq Kunle Salako.

“Having followed your political trajectory, right from being a Lawmaker at the Lagos State House of Assembly up untill the current dispensation as the Chairman, Senate Committee on Finance, we are copiously aware of your commitment to duty; we urge you to rekindle same, as you first time represent your ancestral constituents in Ogun West,” the letter signed by the Executive Director, Operations, Omooba Segun Adeleye and Executive Director, Diaspora Business Development, Mr. Tunde Atobatele, stated.

According to the letter, “winning your closest runner-up by more than double his number of votes suggests that you should more than double your impactful social welfare activities; returning as a Senator with the highest number of votes cast in the annals of senatorial contests in Ogun West is also not a happenstance but symbolic- a top notch deliverables should be the output.”

Recall that Senator Adeola was returned elected with the highest number of votes ever cast in Ogun West Senatorial contests and more than double the votes of his closest runner-up in the February 25 Presidential and National Assembly election to represent Ogun West.

Describing the success of Senator YAYI as a political milestone, AVITES added that the victory was for the constituents in general and for democracy in particular.

“We pray God to gift you the refreshing grace, sound health and discerning spirit to redeem your electioneering promises, and more, to the glory of God and betterment of mankind, as you have always done even before your election,” the letter concluded.
