Ogun: Coalition Of Pro-Democracy, Civil Society Groups Get New Leadership
ABEOKUTA – Following the voluntary resignation of Comrade Olalekan Ajenifuja as the Ogun State Chairman of the Coalition of Pro Democracy and Civil Society groups in the early hours of Thursday,, the Human Right body had elected Comrade Solomon Bankole, to lead the Coalition.
Comrade Bankole Solomon emerged the New leader on Thursday with unanimous votes of the Coalition Leaders, Executives and other members of the body at an emergency Congress of the Coalition held at the June 12 Cultural Centre, kuto, Abeokuta.
The leader of the Coalition in the state, Comrade Lanre Ogunyinka while inaugurating the New Chairman, admonished the commitment of members of the Coalition with a charge to the newly elected chairman to use his wealth of experience and resources to foster unity, love and decency among the rank and file in the state.
In his acceptance speech, Comrade Bankole assured his readiness to work tirelessly in uplifting the Coalition to enviable status, while pledging his willingness to engage every stakeholder in the state for a better socio-economic advancement of the state.
