ACOMORAN Sensitizes Members On Why Dapo Abiodun Must Be Re-elected

ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State chapter of Amalgamated Commercial Tricycle and Motorcycle Owners, Repairs and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN) has once again reiterated its readiness to vote massively for Governor Dapo Abiodun of the state in the coming governorship election.
Chairman of the association, Kayode Sowunmi disclosed this during a sensitisation programme for members of the association in Abeokuta, the state capital on Monday.
Sowunmi while addressing the hundreds of PVC bearing members stressed the imperativeness of the sensitisation, adding that there was need for ACOMORAN members to work in unison towards achieving a common plan of reelecting Abiodun.
The Chairman took his time to enlighten his members on proper and acceptable ways of casting votes in order to avoid cancellation at their various polling units.
While lauding Abiodun’s giant strides in the state, Sowunmi said the governor’s enviable achievement of bringing an airport to the state within his first term of office and his developmental strides in Ogun West had caught their mind, hence, the decision to re-elect him.
Sowunmi said “Governor Dapo Abiodun is the only governor who was able to bring the airport to Ogun state. Something that the past administration’s had tried to do but failed, he achieved it within just a shoe.
“He is a governor that always answers our request, not only our union, including the people of Ogun state. There is a need for us to give him our vote because he has served us well.
When asked whether his members would not betray the association’s decision to vote Abiodun, Sowunmi said the entire members of ACOMORAN had reached an agreement, adding that not if such would happen.
“Governor Abiodun has performed beyond our expectations. His administration has brought peace to us in Ogun state. Since his assumption of office, the issue of insecurity has become a thing of the past.
Sowunmi, however, appealed to residents of the state to troop out en-mass to reelect the governor.
