Don’t be silent over continuous insult by your loyalists on our founder – Ogun NNPP writes Kwankwaso
The leadership of Ogun State New Nigeria People’s Party has advised the presidential candidate of the party in the last election, Rabiu Kwankwaso to call some of his loyalists to order over the recent public assault and insult of the party’s founder, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam.
The Ogun NNPP chairman, Comrade Olaposi Oginni in a letter written to the party’s flagbearer said Kwankwaso’s silence over the public insult may be considered as conspiracy if nothing is done to stop his loyalists from further action.
Oginni lamented that it is disturbing that Kwankwaso’s loyalists could engaged in insult and assault of the founder of the party despite his contributions in the development of NNPP across the country.
The Ogun NNPP chairman alleged that the loyalists led by one Ayoade had been using the connection he had with Kwankwaso to bully anyone in disagreement with him.
He noted, “Your silence on the assault and insult to The Founder of NEW NIGERIA PEOPLE’S PARTY, Dr. Boniface ANIEBONAM who doubles as The Chairman Board of Trustees by people who are loyal to Your Excellency is disturbing.
“Kindly be informed Sir, that if this is allowed to exist further there shall be reactions from the old NNPP in this partnership.
“Recall that the same Ayoade in the past enjoyed your protection and that of Buba Galadima , The BOT Secretary when the entire Southwest Exco passed a vote of no confidence on him .
“It is also on record that he went to court equally against the constitution and he did not pass through disciplinary measures.
“Today the same man is abusing the Founder of our great party in the public space.
“Your silence over this disrespectfulness may be seen as an act of conspiracy if you continue to keep silent.
“The silence and quietness of the Founder of NNPP should not be taken as weakness.
“It is my hope and belief that Your Excellency will take an urgent step to call your loyalists to order as earlier stated.
“The boasting of Ayoade having been introduced to you by General Babangida should not be abused as an opportunity for him to bully around.
“Please Sir, we are demanding You call everyone involved in this case of assault and insult to order.
“I strongly believe that Your stepping in to nip this problem in the bud shall bring the expected Peace and Progress to NNPP in Nigeria.”
