A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Hon Toyin Amuzu has urged the newly elected state executives of the party to be neutral in its dealings.
The party last Saturday elected Hon Abayomi Tella as the Chairman after tenure expiration of Hon Sikirulai Ogundele.
Amuzu while speaking to journalists in Abeokuta, the state capital, also expressed optimistic that the party will perform better in 2027 than 2023
He said “My message to the state excos is to be very neutral and work hard for the party, last election was very good and we want the next election to be better through hard work.
We can get that, it’s been a very long time we performed so well in an election since 2011 in Ogun state ”
According to him, ” What happened last year in our governorship election showed that actually people are turning for change and I assure you ( media) 2027 is going to be better”.
