A 35 years old entrepreneur, Olujobi Ezekiel Fayoyin on Friday declared his intention to run for the governor of Ogun State on the platform of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).

He declared at a well attended ceremony held at the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Iwe Irohin, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The official declaration was attended by the State Chairman of NNPP, Oginni Olaposi and members from all Local Government Areas of the state.

SPEECH DELIVERED BY HON OLUJOBI EZEKIEL FAYOYIN AT HIS OFFICAL DECLARATION OF INTEREST TO RUN FOR THE OFFICE OF OGUN STATE GOVERNOR ON THE PLATFORM OF NEW NIGERIA PEOPLE’S PARTY AT IWE IROYIN HOUSE, ABEOKUTA TODAY 13TH OF MAY, 2022.

Firstly I will like to thank God for life and would like to say a big thank you to all my executive members of NNPP for this unquantifiable opportunity given to me to be part of this gubernatorial race.

Without much ado I will also like to say a special thank you to Com. Oginni Olaposi Sunday for his energy, his undying love, his sagacity and for his comradeship towards building a NEW Nigeria.

Today I am here to officially declare my interest for the highest office in Ogun State and would be looking forward to everyone’s support in achieving this task.
Looking at the state of our Nation in general and Ogun state in Particular, you will agree with me that this state needs a total overhaul in its governmental affairs.
As a citizen of the federal republic of Nigeria, I have made up my mind to be part of those that will make a better change in this country. So therefore I offer myself today as an agent of change to bring about a NEW NIGERIA and a NEW OGUN STATE.

I want us together to build A NEW NIGERIA in tackling security issues that has made everyone in the state to panic about their lives, properties and their businesses. Deploying all security outfits in the state, both governmental and privates to be awaken and to support them with all resources Ogun state has gotten to make sure there is an end to all the menaces of security issues

Building a NEW NIGERIA by making sure all youths are gainfully employed and at least having something good to do per time; for example making sure those that are fit get engaged in sporting activities like football, basketball, lawn tennis, squash, Boxing, swimming, and lots more. Engaging all vocational training centers in the state to be more effective in what they do and to introduce more vocational study courses. Encouraging our youths by giving scholarships to further their studies abroad. Encouraging our youths to be more active in politics and also in decision making in the government.

Building a NEW NIGERIA by making sure all our market men and women are empowered in their trading activities and exposing them to more businesses where they can make more profits.

Building a NEW NIGERIA where private companies, industries will be given more pedigree in the state building and also helping them to be able to employ more youths to avoid them been jobless.

Finally building a NEW NIGERIA where there will be latest infrastructural developments both in our rural and urban areas.
My advice to all the youths of Ogun State is to keep focusing, be optimistic and also believe that whatever they desire in their heart will come to pass when they remain focused.

My sincere gratitude again to my leader Com. Oginni Olaposi Sunday who have remained focused in this struggle and has never backed down or succumbed to any pressure pursuing this New Nigeria that we all clamor for and would love to see in our life time.

Thank you to everyone and remain blessed.
