The Habiba Charity Foundation has commissioned a borehole in Igbomowo Community of Odogbolu Local government area of Ogun state.
At a ceremony held in the community, the founder, Habiba Charity Foundation, Engr. Rasheed Sunmola said the gesture was aimed at ensuring resident of Igbomowo have access to clean and hygenic water.
Sunmola said the foundation is committed to meeting the needs of the people; with a plea to well meaning Nigerians to support the foundation.
For some of the community leaders present at the commissioning, the lauded the founder for the gesture.
They noted that the community requested for help with regards the provision of water, and the foundation came to their aid.
The community leaders added that the water will be beneficial to the entire community and the mosque.
Speaking with newsmen, Mr Mufutai Adebambo Dehinbo, a community leader applauded the foundation for the borehole, saying it would ameliorate the suffering of the residents in search of potable water.
On his part, Alhaji Abdulrazak Adegbesan noted that the foundation came through for the community at a point when residents were making frantic efforts to repair the damage source of water in the community.
They, however, called on other organizations and well-meaning Nigerians to emulate the gesture of the Habitat Charity Foundation in giving succour of the community.
