The Afenifere For Collective Transformation (ACT) has described the award conferred on Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello by European – American University as a boost for youth presidency come 2023.
The Director General of ACT, Prince Tolu Ajayi in a congratulatory message to Bello, said the award also attests to the qualitative leadership being rendered by Bello in Kogi State.
Ajayi said “It has become the second nature of many Nigerians to disregard and pay less attention to their shinning glory which Governor Yahaya Bello represent. Governor Yahaya Bello has vindicated the young generation in the area of quality political leadership hereby proving and confirming to all that the youths are capable of taking over leadership come 2023. Kogi state remain the most secured, peaceful, enabling and politically stable state in the country courtesy of his deliberate security consciousness making him a true Chief Security Officer of his state. The State has continued to attract foreign investment due to the peculiar leadership approach and tactics employed by the governor which is why the state has not been in the news negatively since the past few years.
“Kudos to Nigerian journalists for their display of professionalism in bringing to the fore many of the development going on in kogi state even though more still need to be done. The achievement of Governor Yahaya Bello in all ramifications need to be documented to serve as template for others in position of leadership.
